Stations of the Cross

Pastoral minister Michael Buchmann, Catholic pastoral worker at Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, conceived the texts in the last couple of years which cover a different topic every year.

In these each Station comprises four parts:
  1. a narrative or experience from the camp that links to the location in question;
  2. a text from the Bible (preferably from the Passion of Christ) suitable to shed new light on the relevant memory of the concentration camp;
  3. a resulting query of our life today, food for thought or a prayer
  4. the Kyrie as a request of the mercy of God.
